Soak away your worries and your cares!
Take time out to relax and unwind in an exquisitely scented, therapeutic bath. Add 3 drops of Patchouli for its profoundly relaxing and almost hypnotic effect, 2 drops of May Chang known as the ‘oil of tranquility’, 2 drops of Green Mandarin for its gentle, uplifting effect and 1 drop of Frankincense to help those ‘can’t switch off feelings’. Mix the oils with a tablespoonful of milk first to help them disperse in the water and add 2 tablespoonfuls of mineral rich sea salt to help soothe muscles and joints and to condition the skin.
Alternatively try our ready to use Ultra Relaxing Clinical Bath Oil (150ml £10.99) with Bergamot, Orange Sweet, Lavender and Geranium.
Lie back and relax!
Pamper yourself with a luxurious, deeply moisturising and wrinkle reducing face and neck treatment. Add 15ml of pure Almond Oil to a small dish and warm by placing this in a larger dish of boiling water. Whilst the oil is warming soak 2 to 3 flannels in warm water, ring out and apply to the face and neck. Leave in place for 1-2 minutes until the skin is slightly flushed (showing that surface circulation has been increased). Remove the warmed Almond Oil and blend in up to 4 drops each of Rose, Chamomile and/or Frankincense. Use a large, flat cosmetic brush (or pastry brush) and paint on to the skin using upward strokes avoiding the underneath eye area. Pay particular attention to the jaw line, the throat and the cheeks. If your skin is particularly dry the therapeutic blend will disappear, in which case keep adding more until you are left with a wet surface. Place cotton wool pads soaked in cold water over the eyes and lie back and relax for at least 30 minutes. At the end massage any extra moisture into the skin and for best results leave the skin free of make up for the next 24 hours.
Mood-enhancing massage!
Enjoy some quality time with your partner and indulge in a mood-enhancing massage. Mix 30ml of Sweet Almond Oil with 3 drops of ‘nature’s prozac’, Bergamot, to calm and relax, 1 drop of Palmarosa to banish negative thoughts, 1 drop of Grapefruit which is cleansing for both body and soul and 1 drop of Cedarwood for courage and strength.
